Louisiana - Question

My wife and I are travelling to New Orleans today, and will be coming back on Sunday.

I found a website for LA CHL rules/laws, but found it to be very similiar to Texas.

Is there anyone very familiar with LA CHL laws, and give a tip of what NOT to do thats different in Texas? Can I carry in the French Qtr? Any highlights I need to be aware of? Prompt replys would be greatly appreciated as we are leaving today.
