Wife's plastic Saturday. I ran errands sat am before my wife got home. Took the kids to the donut shop, stopped at the valero, walked right past one of manvel's finest, not a drop of sweat. Went to wally world for lettuce, ran out, hate when that happens! No pics yet, but the wife and I will do a dual Wally walk with pics.
Did notice while in line at ww, I kept pulling at the bottom of my shirt to make sure it was covering. That'll pass with time, I've read. But I didn't feel like anyone was staring, even the Leo in manvel! I was wearing the blackhawk cqc and it stayed tight to my body. But I really can't wait for my custom holster to get in, that looks like it will hold so much closer :thumbs2:

Hello all, I am the son of Sidro, and my wife and I just took our CHL on Saturday June 5th. Now it appears we get to sit around and play the waiting game for a bit. Anyhow, Iam excited about being a part of the community!

sounds like a nice set up. I'm hoping to get a kimber soon. My cousin picked one up two days before class and shot 100% new out of the box.

Hi all, I'm new around here but I like what I see and I hope to participate, as I'm a long time shooter.

I applied online for my CHL on 5/12 and my paperwork was received by DPS on 5/17/10. My online status as of today shows as everything having been received and my background check is "under review". It looks like the waiting times have really varied over the past year so I have no idea what to really expect at this point. Regardless, I'm looking forward to receiving my Texas plastic.
