Re: Introduce yourself
New to the Forum, but not to possessing a CHL.
Found this site mentioned on a local motorcycle forum & figured that I would give it a shot.
I carry a Ruger P95 in a Crossbreed SuperTuck. Currently looking for my next weapon as we speak.

I'ld rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6

Re: Introduce yourself
Howdy folks. I've been looking in the window for a while and decided to come on inside.
I'm 43, married and my blushing bride has put up with me for the most recent 21 years.
We have 4 kiddos, teens... Yes, my hair is gray, but I still have it all! (so far...)
SysAdmin. I make things run...
Glock 30 although lately I've developed an itch for 1911 habit.
I also wanted to thank Charles and all the folks that provide, care and feed this fine establishment.

If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my children will have peace.

Re: Introduce yourself
Hello everyone,
I've been reading the discussions here for months, but this is my first post. This forum convinced me that "reasonable" people carry, and that a getting a CHL and carrying a firearm was a reasonable thing for me to do. I grew up with guns and I enjoy shooting at the range, but the idea of concealing a handgun on a daily basis was not something that immediately made sense to me. The birth of my daughter (first child) several months ago really changed my outlook. The way I see it, if there's a 1 in a 1,000, or even a 1 in a 1,000,000 chance that carrying will help me protect her then the CHL learning curve is well worth every bit of hassle and expense.
My license is now in the mail... now I just need to decide what/how to carry. I think I'm going to start with an LCP in in one of those "wallet" holsters.
Thanks to everyone who makes this forum so informative and entertaining.
