Good to see it, although I would still conceal...... it would be nice in order to cover mishaps of uncovering.
I don't carry my 40 all the time, just when I leave my home!

Text is up. Gobs of pages. I only had time to scan, for now. When more time, most focus going to be on 30.06. NOT willing to jeopardize what we have now for concealed.

My quick reading says the 30.06 sign will still apply to concealed or unconcealed carry. It seems the text only likes two ways to carry an unconcealed gun and that's either a shoulder holster or a belt holster.
Her's a snippet that's mentioned several times...

Does this guy have stock in holster companies that makes holsters "with at least dual points of resistance"?

I'm actually surprised it does not contain: "1911's are not allowed to be carried unconcealed while cocked and locked".
Similar ignorance.
Realistically speaking though......
I can only think of three places where I would carry openly anyway......
Mostly in the Winter time.......
1. At the barbershop when I remove my jacket and sitting in the chair.
2. In a restaurant when I remove my jacket and sitting at the table. In this case, positioned as I already do with the gun protected by my position and eyes on the door.
And in the Summer.......
3. On private property at Family gatherings.
And probably while driving..........
Makes it easier for the LEO's to take my Pistol (for their safety) and run the S/N.

Its either Conceal all the way or not at all. (a)AAA license holder commits an offense if the license
holder carries a handgun on or about the license holder ’s person
under the authority of Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code,
and intentionally fails to conceal the handgun, unless the license
holder is carrying the handgun in a shoulder or belt holster with at
least dual points of resistance.
