WTB: Sig SP2022

Post by shillow »

Anyone know where I can find a SP2022 in Houston or online that is overly inflated on pricing? Some of the prices they are asking at the moment are pretty crazy :rules:

I've been interested in one of these for a while but havent been able to put my hands on one locally. Been looking at Academy and Carters but they are either only 9mm or sold out.

Thanks :cheers2:

They had 5 of them at my Cabela's yesterday. Didn't really look at them but think they were under $500.

Looks like it's in store only. They had some at impact guns.com but looks like they already sold out. Got busy on a deadline at work so looks like I missed out. :banghead: Oh well guess I'll keep looking.

Thanks for the info on Cabelas. Wish there was one in Houston.

No worries, I sold the 239 without even having to list it.

It's crazy, there used to be a lot more guns for sale...now it's people wanting to buy this and that. Hope ya find what you are looking for.

Last time I was in my favorite LGS (viewtopic.php?f=22&t=42341), they had one.

That's where mine came from in December, and I was very pleased with their service.

I have an SP2022 in .40 and really like it. You might try Spring Guns & Ammo as they normally carry a good inventory of Sigs at reasonable prices.

Well had a line on one at academy which was waiting for the "NCIS" (I think thats what its called to clear) and when I called to check some young sounding kid started trying to play games with me. first he said they didn't have one, then he had no idea what I was talking about, then after letting him know that the girl from another store called a few days before and told me the hold was expiring 3/1 then he said "yeah we have one but it's not expiring on the 1st". I was pretty ticked with his bull and finally decided to not deal with the run around from him. It looks like he was probably holding it for someone or maybe himself. I ended up finding one on gunbroker.com and after shipping and transfers it was a little more than if I got the one at academy. I should hopefully have it in hand by wednesday :anamatedbanana

Thanks for all the help on finding one. I can't wait to get my hands on it and head to the range to see how good it is. I've not be able to find a bad review of this gun so I'm hoping it lives up to everything I've read on it. I hate the wait but gotta do what ya gotta do :

Vol Texan, I didn't realize they sold guns there. I'm planning to do my CHL over there sometime later this month. Haven't signed up yet but I want to get it done pretty soon.
