Four wounded all critical, no fatalities. Included in the wounded is one Washington DC police officer. Guns are very nearly illegal in Washington DC.

The TV series NCIS takes place in the US Navy yard in Washington DC.

More wackos gone wild. Obviously a navy yard is a secure yard. Praying for the victims and my brother in blue.

How long until the calls for more gun control??? Perhaps not, since the affected individuals were not children (so far as we know) and were employed by the military....

I would have thought the military would have more / better protocols in place after Ft. Hood....

More workplace violence?

Very sad for all involved, especially the victims and their families.

Multiples attackers implies organized attack, call it terrorism or a a violent crime. Regardless who did it, it necessitates more safety measures.

Interesting they could tell that. Some real smart folks on the job on this one.

I am praying for all the victims, plus a special Old Testament prayer for the attackers and their helpers who created the defense-free zones.

Watching the news is killing me for several reasons. They are suggesting the shooter was armed with a semi auto gun. While that is probably true, why the sensational "semi auto?" I guess they can't jump on the "assault weapon" yet. Just a thought, but why not allow the story to unfold? Then we have the President already referring to another mass shooting in the US which will further fuel the fire. Then the media keeps showing the swat teams, armored rescue vehicles, k9's, helicopters and a lot leo's carrying rifles... Come tomorrow we will hear how it was like a war zone and the show of force wasn't needed :smash:

Police just confirmed at least 12 dead.

Kudos to the leo's that responded and took this guy down.

Hope Gibbs, DeNozzo, and McGee are ok. Guess Ducky and Abby are busy given 12 fatalities.

Just as ammo started to hit the shelves again!

This story is a completely fabricated lie; guns are not allowed there.

Okay, the recurring footage shows one guy runnin' to the action. He's head to toe long-sleeved khakis with a Marine lookin' soft cap. Black nylon gunbelt, and black rifle. Who is this guy ? That's not a uniform I recognize. Is he a contract security guy ? Just curious. And, NO, I don't think he's UN, or Russian, or Illuminati Royal Guard, just wondering if anyone's got an idea. I'm putting my tin foil hat back on, and will be under my desk if you need me.
