From the south Jetty the newspaper for Port Aransas:

Sunday, July 27
1:28 p.m.
• A man was arrested
on suspicion of aggravated assault with
a weapon in the 200
block of Oleander
Street. Police said one
man allegedly punched
the other after repeatedly striking him with a
painted metal walking
stick with stickers on it.
