First Walk

#1

Post by meeksG26 »

I am expecting my plastic any day now and as I am preparing for my first "Wally Walk" I was wondering if it is a good idea to bring another person along with me? Or is it best to go alone?

This might not seem an important question to anyone but as the time is slowly approaching and the anticipation is building up I had to ask.

I haven't looked at the rulebook lately, but IMO go alone.

If you go with someone they should not know that it is a Wally Walk.

If the person knew that would cause you to act differently and distract you.

Remember that the rules say you have to eat nachos. :rules:

If they don't serve nachos you must sit down and eat some other messy food.

BTW welcome to the forum. :txflag:

Meeks, it gets easier. I just put my holster on and went out with my wife the first few times not telling her anything. Just do it with or without her but IMO do it when you have a reason to be someplace, not just to walk around. Have a purpose such as shopping at a particular place or out to dinner. It distracts you from being self-conscience about being armed and helps make it second nature after awhile.

Pictures are required. No selfies either.
