About 6 weeks ago a I emailed my State Rep and his office contacted DPS and expedited the completion of the application. At that point the application was in the background check process. It still took six weeks from the suppposed expediting, until I got the license. I am just glad I finally got it...but the performance of our gommint is an abomination!!!!
