Very surprised to see this yesterday 1/12/2014
Application : Received
Fingerprints : Complete
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID : Valid
Citizenship : No documentation required
Passport photo holder : Received
Photo : Received
Proof of Classroom training : Received
Proof of Proficiency training : Received
Fee : Received
Background Check : Under review
Concealed Handgun License : Print pending completion of application review
I wasn't expecting any kind of update for another month. Now we'll see how long the background check takes.
2-19-2014
My status just changed to:
Background Check : Completed
Concealed Handgun License : Manufacturing Pending
7 days from background under review to completed. Hopefully printed and mailed in the next day or so.

I just checked the site and it now shows to be mailed.
That's 45 days from submission to mailed. From what I keep reading, that's got to be near a record since the new laws took affect last September.
Go get a lotto ticket because you seem to be really lucky!

My wife submitted hers just before Christmas. She received it in the mail Tuesday. For some reason, we both seemed to be ahead of the curve.

Class: 12/14/13
Application: 12/16/13
Fingerprints: 12/26/13
Mailed the checklist in with completion form via snail mail mid-January and still no update. Tried uploading it from scans on the 10th of February. Not sure if I uploaded it wrong or what. How else has everyone been doing it? Also, I pleaded no contest to a Disturbing the Peace charge last summer for a noise complaint in Tulsa, OK, what paperwork if any would I have to submit?
Thanks

Whaaat? Do you mean 01/07/14? Was it a renewal? I have never heard of a two week turnaround. If it is that fast then congratulations for beating the system.

It was probably a Class C misdemeanor. So long as you added it to your criminal history on your application, it should be ok. They only care about Class A/B. But so there is nothing to question. Maybe you can request a copy of the case disposition from your county clerks office in Tulsa in case Texas questions your charge. I had similar charges in Texas, although over 10 yrs ago and my plastic is in the mail. Good luck.

Sorry about the mistake. I submitted my paperwork online on 1/7/2014 and just received my CHL. It was a new application and not a renewal.
