Then, I realized I hated it, and switched to "Scott in Houston".
Because, well, my name is Scott, and um, I live in... um, Houston.
(It's also the name I use on all the car forums I participate on)
Nuh-uh, you live in Katy and Sugar Land (how do you live in both?).
LOL... well, now I live in Memorial. I need to update that. :)

I grew up in Sugar Land and had a house there while living in Katy. We are now out of Katy and SL and strictly in Memorial. ;)

Ah gotcha. I thought maybe there was a new development in Richmond called KatyLand that I hadn't heard of before.

Oh and I just noticed that my location isn't exactly correct either... I actually live in Richmond but I might keep it that way so the folks in the DFW don't think I'm in one of their little suburbs.

Though a Fort Worth native, I've spent a lot of my life in San Diego. I have family from socal and it is where I spent my time in the Navy. Now, I'm a proud father of two and Surferdaddy describes me quite well. On a bit of a side note,'Surferdad' is what my surfbros and I would call a 'veteran' surfer who is out with a kook, 'beginner.' We would say "Dude, Dave's like your surferdad bro!"

...Returning to Texan mind set now. Honestly, California's a great place. San Diego benefits a lot from the military influence there, keeps it from being completely insane. So here I am, a hybrid I suppose.

Much better beaches in California than Galveston. :coolgleamA:

Because "Dave" was taken. I actually first signed up under the name "TheOtherDave", but for some reason the confirmation email wouldn't go through. So I used a different address to sign up for this account. I had intended to ask the admins to change my username, but then I forgot about it.

Too simple for me...it is my last name, and my birthday. Johnson and 0317 (St. Patricks Day). My sig (RJ) is simply my initials.

My grandson was born on March 17th!

I think he was 8 or 9 before he found out everyone wasn't really wearing green (his favorite color) to celebrate St. Williams's day!!! "rlol"

(All true, I swear.)

When I bought my 2008 Harley Davidson vrod the salesman said a good personalized place would "V-rog." Since my first name is Roger, "v-rog" is a good play on "vrod." It just made sense.

Bulldog has been my nickname since peewee football. Still have people call me Bull, or Bulldog. And I'm sure you all know why I added the 1911
