Well the .380 is a good price!

Looks like that rare bird is being seen more frequently, which is a good thing.

I was at a WalMart last weekend in Garland and got their last two 100 round boxes of .40S&W for $27 and change each. The guy said, "Well, that's it until the truck shows up next week." So, it seems like they are getting more regular shipments. I think he said about every two weeks they get more ammo, but it lasts for less than a week. That's still better than every couple of months and at their regular prices.

The Walmart in Garland at 190 and N. Garland had over 50 boxes of .40 sw tonight. Unfortunately, they did not have any 9mm. Good luck to all you .40 shooters.

It really does make a difference where you shop. Had occasion to visit the local Walmart as well as Carter's Country on Wilcrest. Both had Winchester WWB 9mm Lugar FMJ in the 100 rd box. Walmart's price was $20.99 and Carter's price was $34.99 for the exact same ammo! Carter's has a good supply of ammo in a variety of calibers and brands - if you are willing to pay their ridiculous prices.

Sports Authority at 646 and I45 has WWB 100 count 9mm, 38 Special and lots of 40 S&W however.......
I will never shop there for ammunition again. I was allowed to walk unaccompanied through the store to the checkout, then I was asked for Id (presumably to check for my DOB. Then I was asked to sign for the ammunition! Last time I bought some shotgun slug there (admittedly a couple of months ago) I didn't have to show or sign anything.
Is this a new 'rule'? If it is....I don't like it, not one little bit.
