I served with the 1/509 Airborne. Based out of Ft. Polk, LA we were a part of the Joint Readiness Training Center. Our job was to play the role of the "bad guys" when other units came through JRTC to train. We were the "Opposing Force" or "Opfor" for short.

phat eskimo is a nickname that was given to me by some kids in the youth group my wife and I volunteered with years ago. In the summer we would break the kids into teams for weekly games and such, my team came up with the name “p.e.w” as an acronym for the other name they gave the team “phat eskimo wedgies”. somewhere a couple of the kids started calling me phat eskimo and shortly after that I started using it on the interwebs.

Game Six of the 1985 World Series is one of my most vivid childhood memories. I was there when Dane Iorg pinch hit in the winning run (after Don Deckinger blew a call at first base). Of course ever since then, being a Royals fan hasn't been terribly productive.

My friends and I wanted to start a band when we were younger. "At All Cost" was taken so I found a different way to spell "all cost" and since it is unique, I use it for screen names.

My name means "plainsman" in Spanish. It also carries connotations of being a cowboy, but I am not a cowboy though. I do however, live on a plain, and not just any plain, but the famous and unique, Llano Estacado named by Spanish conquistador Francisco Vasquez de Coronado.
