How can you tell when ANY politician is lying?

His lips are moving!

Remember, correlation does not equal causation ;-)

Back on topic: Good article.

Let us reiterate, Obama is a CHICAGO politician, a l@wyer(Sorry Charles) and he talks a lot. What does that tell us?

BTW, at least two of those 3 conditions apply to quite a few of his appointees.

Back on subject.

Political bumper stickers.

One reason I don't put any on my vehicles.

My favorite bumper stickers:
I have personally owned these.

"Custer had it coming!"

"I refuse to have a battle of wits with the unarmed"

Democrats (I'm making an assumption about the crowd - sorry) are very open minded unless you disagree with them. :patriot:

We've all seen the bumper stickers that say something like

"My child is an honor student at John Smith Elementary."

One man displayed a totally opposite sentiment on his car:

"My son makes his living robbing 7-11's!" :-)

**********************************************************************************************
Speaking of "making you a target" I know a guy who has a "Protected by Ruger"
sticker on his pickup's back window.

A smart crook finding this truck parked outside a 30.06 site would
be like a kid opening a Christmas present: Will he find an LCP, an LCR, a P345,
or what other kind of Ruger when he breaks into that pickup?

I disagree.

It is rather amusing that Houston is still trying to get the retired space shuttle to park at NASA. They seem to have forgotten why the LBJ Space Center was built where it is, and that its destination, the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum, is in Ohio.

What goes around comes around.

To apologize, I will share a funny:

Due to the popularity of the "Survivor" shows, Texas is planning to do one entitled, "Survivor, Texas-Style!"

The 8 contestants will all start in Dallas , then drive to Waco , Austin , San Antonio , over to Houston and down to Brownsville ... They will then proceed up to Del Rio , El Paso , Odessa , Midland , Lubbock , and Amarillo. From there they will go on to Abilene , Fort Worth and finally back to Dallas ...

Each will be driving a pink Volvo with bumper stickers that read: "I'm a Democrat," "Amnesty for Illegals," "I love the Dixie Chicks," "Boycott Beef," "I Voted for Obama," Willie Nelson is a druggie," "Hillary in 2012," and... "I'm here to confiscate your guns."

The first one to make it back to Dallas alive wins.

God Bless Texas! :txflag:

This is the same reason I have five Crimson Trace decals still in the boxes they came in, with CT intending them for my car's back window.

At least they get a reprieve in Astin

Not to upset any applecarts... but Top Gear actually did this in Alabama, which is probably where the idea came from.

Good one! Someone else made a point about Austin giving them a reprieve...I guess Austin is like a "sactuary city" for someone with those bumper stickers. BTW I'm not a Republican - I'm more of the live and let live Libertarian.

HOLY COW! I can't believe this thread is still alive.

I have on my tailgate:

Hope is not a strategy.
Change is not a destination.

I can't tell you how many people who've made positive comments. I've yet to hear one negative one. On the other hand, my tires keep going flat.
