I already know what it is. I was involved in an incident early 2012 which if convicted i would have been disqualified. The case was completely dismissed with ZERO circumstances.. flat out dismissed.. no probation or adjudication.. just dismissed.. so i bet this is what is holding me up. They said could take 3-6months to clear it and they usually only take about 90 days.. so here I wait..

and before anyone asks it was dismissed because my lawyer was able to prove self defense (because it was) behind the scenes with the county prosecutors.


anyway thats my story.. kind of personal but there might be others dealing with the same issues.

As of 3/27, still awaiting materials.

I have called and their 'help line' stated that it should take up to 6 weeks to process applications. Not very helpful.

Mine took 7 weeks to update at all. But when it did update, it showed everything completed except background check.

Like the other posters have mentioned it seems to be taking 6 plus weeks now for many of us to show received..I hand delivered my application packet to the dps office on Feb 26th and I also am still "awaiting required materials"..I'm hoping after the system update to see some progress.

Mailed complete packet via priority mail on mar 8th. No status change yet. 4wks & 2days counting

Of course I post this in the wrong place! I'm not a February filer!! Duh!! LoL
