I'd missed the Rose McGowan comments on HRC... IMO, they're pretty darned accurate.

From what I recall... Got up on a picnic table, threw an extension cord over a tree branch and around his neck. Then shot himself.

Fairly unwieldly to do with a shotgun, but, possible I suppose. Just adds to the doubt that it was actually suicide.
