My status finally changed today. It took about 107 days to be approved with no issues.

Plastic received today after 129 days and supposedly no problems with my app. Woohoo. Strap on the holster, I'm headed out.

FINALLY GOT PLASTIC IN HAND! 
as of Friday.
The wait for USPS was almost as excruciating as the wait from DPS. Five days to travel 300 miles? At least it is here. Haven't done the Wally Walk yet, but went to the Boat Show yesterday. I went with my best friend, who has had his license for 10 years...I bet I gave him a lot of reasons to laugh. A little nervous. Felt like I had a big spotlight on me for the first 30 minutes. After that, no worries.
Congratulations to all that have received their plastic. For the rest, I hope you have contacted your State Rep because your wait should have been over by now.

I'm still waiting on mine. I sent mine in on the 18th of march. I emailed the DPS this week, and they said they were in the final stages of completing my application. They could not give me a time frame, only that it will bee soon.
