Great Day Today!!
Went to Saxet Gunshow here in S.A. (prices seem to be coming down a little, finally)...checked mail when I got home and CHL had arrived, at last!
Soooo, with my j-frame in a Nemesis pocket holster, and my Glock OWB, I went and performed a proper Wally Walk to make it all official..
To top it off, we finally got a nice rain shower here to boot. All in all, a great day!
Thanks to fellow forum members for support and especially to those like Charles who've been nipping at the heels of DPS to get things going.

Thumbs up TexasFlash. It looks like the "July 2009" class is moving right along. I hope to get my licence early next week!

My plastic arrived Saturday as well - 56 days from the day I took the class to arrival. And you guys had me worried it would take until December...

I have such good luck they approved it but on a long weekend, still waiting on plastic, will probably be Tuesday hopefully

from reading your time line ,and considering that Monday is a holiday ,
it will probably be more like Thursday or even Friday .

that's just the average time from what i am seeing .

I am not to worried about when I get it, still don't have any JHP's. They should be here hopefully next week sometime so I can't even carry until then. I could load it up with some FMJ's

SWEET!!!!

I thought I have a few more weeks to finish some upgrade purchases like an 1 1/2" belt, CC vest, and a few other things. But DPS is so efficient right now, that I need to hurry up and get those things plus a few more items. Geez, what a problem to have!

Status is now complete. Still no plastic. Probably in limbo land somewhere......Oh, well, can't complain....it could have taken MUCH longer. My best wishes to all those waiting for the "Completed" status.

I rather it be that way instead of getting the plastic with no ammo. Once it comes in I am ready to rock and roll!
