Friend just called to tell me he received his plastic. Right at 30 days. These new apps sure got it easy. Oh for the good ole days when it took 110 days.

so i was approved on Tuesday which means it was out for postage. Came home and still no license in the mail. REALLY???
I live in Houston 4 HOURS AWAY!
USPS is terrible. this is why we should all fear government run programs. they fail and they go bankrupt!

on my end, i'm still watching, waiting and in the dang "processing application" holding pattern !!!
01/09/2010 - CHL class taken
01/11/2010 - Packet overnighted to DPS with money order
01/22/2010 - Received PIN via Email Request (same day)
01/22/2010 - Processing Application (not sure of exact date since I didn't have the PIN)
01/30/2010 - Received PIN via snail mail
xx/xx/xxxx - Application Complete
xx/xx/xxxx - Plastic in Hand

Hang in there... You might be one of the few people that gets their plastic before the status ever changes.
