Hi all,
Been reading this forum for a while and decided to take my seat in the waiting room.
I hate waiting

Everyone does, but I've found this is a pretty nice place to wait.
I tried to let the plastic "surprise" me after BGC completed but this surprise is taking a little too long!!!!

Just wondering if the status changes during the day or only updates during the night?
I'm so tired of waiting. Seems like half my life has been lost wait for one thing or anouther. Sad thing is, having been a LEO and currently having a SEC clearance, (which requires a FBI BGC), it should be an easy app to process. Guess it's the shear volumes they must be dealing with.
Good things to those who wait. Gives me time to decide on which CHL insurance to go with and my new holsters are almost broken in, (or is it my butt that's being broken in by the pocket holster?).
Hello I'm Manufacturing Pending

Hello All,
I filled out the application on-line about a week prior to my class, which was on 7/10. The instructor hand-delivered The Packet and DPS confirmed receipt of same for 7/12. The last item outstanding, the BGC went to Completed on 8/7 and since that time my application is stuck on Manufacturing Pending.
If everything else (including fingerprints and BGC) is marked as completed does that mean I'm just waiting for the machine to grind?
I began to wonder if if Manufacturing Pending means "Sitting in a queue waiting to be printed" or "Pending further review / possible complications"
I'm only 35 days or in so, but I'm anxious nonetheless :)

Welcome to the waiting room folks. WE are glad you are here for a visit & will congratulate you upon graduation when presented w/ your deploma by the USPS. Upon receiving the plastic be sure to take your Wally Walk & then return to your regular daily routeen.

My BGC was completed on the same day and I'm still in manufacturing pending as well. I haven't gotten mail since Friday the 13th :(

I was 8 days between the status changing manufacturing pending and the status changing again to mailed. Some guys, about 2 weeks ago, still had manufacturing pending status and had the post office deliver their plastic. Me thinks that the status isn't always a good indicator of what is happening.
I had promised myself that I was going to call them on the day that the status changed to mailed. After I saw the change, I didn't bother. It was another 3 days after that that the mail arrived.

The Power of the Waiting Room!
I posted to the forum only last night and this afternoon my status shows: Mailed!
Odd how this piece of plastic has turned me into an impatient child
Wally-walk here I come. (I read up about the WW and I'm going to do it up right)

Re: PRO Thanks!
In celebration (and after reading about the free year on this site) I went ahead and joined the NRA for a 3-year membership.
