I'd like to hear from Charles on where we are at on HB910. Is a court challenge possible based on removal of an amendment while in conference?

No. I'm not sure what Stickland was up to, but I think he was hoping for grounds to assert a POO and try to bring the Senate version of HB910 up for a concurrence vote. He really should check the rules and procedures ahead of time.

Well said. I'll drink to that!

Now I think ahead to Jan 1 2016, and how the Houston PD will react to MWAG calls. I wonder if we'll have to adopt blue state tactics, like sponsoring trash pickups and other community service activities while OCing, to desensitize the public (and PD)?

And hopefully, with all of the bru-ha-ha of Dutton/Huffines, every LEO in the state of TX is now aware of the 4th Amendment, Terry v Ohio, and 42 U.S.C. § 1983 lawsuits as it relates to OC...
