Thanks for the updates Tex. Interesting numbers as I thought there were more School Safety Instructors. Glad you had fun,
Motrin, Ben gay, and your Chiropractor are your friends for us older guys recovering from the class.

From the sounds of it the DPS has been training around ~20 FR instructors per month... which means it would be not quite 2 years to get everyone on the wait list trained.
I just put in my application for School Safety Instructor and may end up finishing school safety first.

IIRC DPS stated that they had not received any class completions for FR training. Great instructor course, glad I took it, but really do not see that there will be much (if any) demand.

So here it is 2 years after I posted it would be 2 years to get everyone trained... and I finally got a seat in the next training class.
When I did the School Safety Instructor class in 2024 the cadre indicated there have only been a handful of First Responder students (all in rural areas).
