Let's see, would that be the kitten that tries to eat my M44, or the one that tries to climb my wife's 20ga?

Or maybe it's the one that keeps knocking my loading blocks over so she can play with the brass...

Anybody need a bunch of cats?

Just recently had to put down our most recent baby (for last 13 years)
Don't have a picture available unfortunately, but do offer the following for your edification:

If you can start the day without caffeine, If you can get along without pep pills, If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains, If you can resist complaining to and boring people with your troubles, If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time, If you can overlook it when those you love take it out on you when, through no fault of your own, something goes wrong, If you can take criticism and blame without resentment, If you can ignore a friend's limited education and never correct him or her, If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend, If you can face the world without lies and deceit,

If you can conquer tension without medical help, If you can relax without liquor, If you can sleep without the aid of drugs, If you can honestly say that deep in your heart you have no prejudice against creed, color, religion, national origin, gender preference or politics,

THEN, you have ALMOST reached the same level of development as your dog.

Shaggy, sorry to hear about that... We've got an old Boston that is going downhill fast, but she's still eating and in control of her functions (mostly),,,

Here's our tactical pets... As alert as SGT Schultz @ Stalag XIII... but they're good company!

Hmm. Lotsa tactical cats seem to be black. Here's one more:

And he can bring reinforcements:

A few nights ago, when the weather got cold, we had a home invader. At 0230, my wife the insomniac is screaming at the top of her lungs in the living room. I come rolling out of bed, grab the Hi Power and Surefire and charge out into the living room. However, my big bad boy black cat already had the intruder by the scruff of the neck, and is running around under the table with him. Unfortunately rather than having a "bite to stop" or "bite to kill" doctrine, he has a "catch and release, chase it down, catch and release, repeat" doctrine. Which is why my wife is screaming -- small rodents running around underfoot really creep her out. By now the reinforcements pictured above are in on it, so there we are, three cats and guy in boxer shorts now armed with a dust pan and a broom, running around in the living room after a mouse. I'm surprised the mouse didn't die of fright - or laughter. Eventually I expelled the intruder, not sure if he was mortally wounded or not, but he didn't come back.

Shaggy, I'm sorry to hear that. You have my sympathy. Pets are family.
