I had the 9th on my calendar to remind me to start and finish the day with a prayer for LT. I hope we get an update soon.

UPDATE:
LT came through surgery in good shape, and with little blood loss. They had to do a total knee replacement because of the shape the knee joint was in. He has a nerve block on the top of the leg, & has required only 1 pain pill through this morning. Physical therapy started this a.m., & he is sitting up in a chair. Can't stand yet because the nerve blocker will make his leg buckle.

He is in Woodland Heights Hospital here in Lufkin. His phone number to his room is: 936-631-8234.

Him and Mrs. LT still need our prayers.

Edited: He may get to go home Saturday or Sunday.

I just talked to Jerry and he say's they are going to let him go home tomorrow.
He sounded great and is ready to start trying out his new knee.

That is wonderful! I would call LT, but it is kinda late and I do not want to wake him or his wife. I am glad he did well in surgery!

Thanks for the update and great new El Gato. Now, if he can only get the Doctors to get rid of that bionic sound it will make when he jumps out of 2nd floor windows in slow motion. :smilelol5:

Yeah, you know, I thought LT only went in for a knee job. What I can't figure is why he now looks like this:

Skiprr you are a mess.
I am home.
Was due home morning. While the Dr was writing his orders at the Nurses station he got called to emercency surgery. They got out a little after noon. I got home at 3:30. It was a full replacement. They did start theropy Wed afternoon. Thursday was an 8 hr day. Friday the same.

When they would start to tell me about pain in rehab I told them they could not legally hurt me as bad as I have hurt the last 2 yrs w/ this thing. :cryin I have already crossed that bridge.
Yes it has hurt but nothing as bad as before surg. I am moble on a walker. I am functional w/ a shower set up. I have now put my own socks on. Takes me longer than it used to. Start theropy in the Rehab unit Tuesday. Will be 6 weeks & then see if I need 2 more. The rest will be at home.
Thank you for your prayers.
I will be on the tele tomorrow some. I cant stay at the board too long w/ my leg down.
See yall in print soon.
Thanks again for your prayers.
LT
