I got my GA license at 25 (and never carried), but didn't get my Texas license until I was 39. I now carry everywhere I go except the office...

I got my first CHL at 25 in 1996. It was a two year license that I let expire. I got my current CHL in 2001 at age 31.

I took my first CHL class when I was 23. Right after the class was over, I lost my job, so I couldn't send in the application fee. I dragged my feet on it until it was too late. Then, met a girl, marriage, kids, etc... Finally got back on it when I was 28 (took the course right before my birthday, submitted it so I could get a full year out of it). Received it when I was 29. =-]

I got my CHL at 39 which was about 3 weeks ago. I have no vaild excuse for waiting except for just being plain lazy.

My application is being processed. I'll turn 45 in February and I hope to receive it while I'm still 44. We'll see.....

moved home and got 2nd CHL at 28, carry every day now at age 30
