:nono: Whoa, that's a pretty strong statement there....

1. Show me your facts that show me the racial composition of the Austin CHL office
2. Please tell us how minority, as apposed to whites, are less capable of doing the job in a timely manner
3. Please tell us why goverment employees are less capable than non-government employees at accomplishing tasks in a timely manner
4. Tell me how you are better equipped to do the job than the individuals in the Austin CHL office?

Those remarks are both racist and condescending in nature. I'm sure you realize that there are both minority and goverment workers participating on this forum.
:iagree: :iagree:

That statement has racial implications and it IS condescending in nature... :nono:

Open Records Requests are a request for records. You don't get to ask questions. That's why I said I didn't think it would accomplish anything in this setting.

What will be the legal basis of your lawsuit? What relief will you be seeking? Who will be the defendant(s)?
bigdadykain wrote:News flash, they are required to follow the statutes and underfunding and/or incompetence will not be an acceptable excuse. Of course you do have a right to continue to do nothing and accept things exactly the way they are.
Did you read the thread on the DPS meeting? That's hardly "doing nothing."

I would say the red letters are a statement. You might be right about government employees, although, like employees everywhere, that one is up for debate. But you're the one who made the point of including the word "minority," not BigBlueDodge. We have members of this board who are minorities.

I'm just sayin'...

You guys are right. Minority, government workers are the model for efficient and effective productivity. Business schools and corporations, all over the world, are clamoring to observe them in action so they can pass this secret on to the private sector. Thanks for helping me see the light.

So, you really think the whole process would run more smoothly and efficiently if the entire CHL division at DPS was staffed by Caucasian males? Let's face it, women are a minority, too. You can't not blame them.

It's kind of funny how a bunch of people (me too) can be so passionate about the second amendment, but won't recognize my right to think what I want to think. Isn't that what liberals do?

No one is telling you that you don't have the right to think whatever you want to think. Don't get upset when we exercise our right to tell you that (we think) you're wrong.

I think you're wrong, but I don't feel a need to tell you that. Why are you driven to do it to me?

Yes, you can think what you wish. You can express your feelings within the rules of the forum. I posted the rule you violated and you continue to do so. Please stop now.

This one:
Forum Rule 3 wrote:3. No racial or ethnic slurs. Descriptions of persons in actual events are fine, so long as it doesn’t constitute stereotyping.

Why is everyone so shocked that a bunch of minority, government employees can't accomplish a task in a timely manner?
Seems like an attempt to stereotype based on ethnicity.

You just did. We tell you because what you said is in violation of the forum rules.

It's funny...while you were spending your time thinking about me, I generated almost $30,000 in commissions today. Thanks for the attention. It feels good.
