I saw the report last night too. And I must say they gave a lot of airtime to the issue. I was expecting a minute or two tacked on the last 2mins of the news. I believe it was good to have women gun owners on there rather then males as hopefully now some women will realize self defense is not just a guy thing. I was watching it with my semi-anti-girlfriend (that’s a whole other topic altogether, I meet her before I had my CHL but as I was planning for an Elk hunt in Co so I thought she’d be cool with guns, I’m still trying to work on her.)
I think it was very pro-gun they had like 4 gun owners an NRA rep and ONE anti.
Yea and someone can break into your house too and steal it there so what? Lock it up when your not using it. They make car safes.
I too am afraid of my gun getting stolen from my truck…which is why I choose to keep it with me 24/7

"I feel that it's a problem," said Tomasita Garza, Texans for Gun Safety.
This group disagrees with King, saying there are other problems with leaving a gun in a car.
"The reason being no vehicle is safe. No matter what kind of deterrents you use to keep your car from being stolen, it can still be stolen," said Garza.
