Ok, this might be a really stupid question, but this isn't the first time I've been told to do this whole "finger in pistol" thing.
Is that an inside joke or does it really help the situation? It just seems like a bad idea to me and my finger, but if for some reason it's a good idea, I'd love to hear why.
I was being humorous. I wouldn't really do that.
I was being serious about what I would do if he wasn't armed...depending of coarse on how big he is. I might just crack him in the jaw. But distraction and flight is usually the best way to avoid getting hurt.

I used to read "Green Eggs & Ham" to my youngest. As his name is Sam, it went over great with him.
