I pocket carry in jeans all the time. As someone else said, I don't wear skin-tight jeans, though. I have worn some fairly tight jeans, and I know that they would slow down the draw, but a pistol that is slow to draw is better than a pistol sitting in the safe back at home.

I use a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster when I pocket carry, whether it's in jeans or slacks. And nothing else is in that pocket. If my P3AT is a BUG, I may vary which pocket it goes into. If I am dressed such that the P3AT is my only carry, it goes into my right front pocket, so that I can have my strong hand on it without being obvious that I have my hand on a gun.

I also pocket carry a Kahr PM9 in jeans using a Desantis Nemesis or WRB pocket holster with a flap over it. Works well and I can draw with just a slight shift in position when sitting.

As others have stated, you can't wear tight jeans and expect to pocket carry. People appreciate that I don't wear tight fitting clothes anymore as I am 5'9" and about 195. While not overly fat, I do have a case of dresser disease (that's where your chest has fallen into your drawers.) LOL

I dropped by Cabela's and ended up looking at quite a few guns for pocket carry. Pretty much all of them, when in a holster, look like I have a really big wallet in my front pocket. I could get away with it in my cargo shorts, but I really don't think it's practical for my front pocket. I guess I'm just too darn skinny.

I occasionally pocket carry either a P3AT or a 642 in a pair of shorts on a hot day, but generally speaking it's not my favorite way to carry simply because I'm a big sweaty hog.

I occasionally pocket carry my LCP (w/ Hornady Critical Defense .380)...

After presenting my TDL and CHL as required after getting pulled over (for a non moving violation), the Officer asked, "Do you have your weapon on you now"? And while keeping my hands at 10 & 2 on the wheel, I said, "actually sir I have three."
He was very professional about things and asked me to step out of my truck ( I did so very slowly - keeping my hands visible as much as possible). I have to admit that since was my first time to present my CHL to a LEO I was nervous, I stood there with my arms somewhere between halfway and all the way out. I think he found this funny (and looking back so do I) but before he told me to relax he looked me up and down and asked where "they" all were.

"Well, one's in my waistband on my right side, one's in my left (Jeans) pocket, and the other is in the little pocket that's inside my right front pocket."

With that his left eyebrow went up almost a full inch. He kind of cocked his head to one side and said something to the effect of "are you telling me you have a pistol so small it fits in the "watch" pocket of your jeans?"
I replied "yes sir, and I'd love to show it to you sometime". He replied that he'd like to see it, but "not today"!

Waistband: Glock 27 in Comptac holster
Left pocket: LCP
"Watch" pocket: NAA .22 mag with folding grip. I'm not trying to restart the "Mouse Gun" thread but I really like this little gun. I'm not savvy enough to post a link or pic, but if you don't know what this is (IMHO) you should check it out. You could carry concealed in your bathing suit - unless you're a lady or wear a speedo !

I pocket carry a Kahr PM9 in jeans all the time in jeans and no one's ever noticed that I'm carrying. I carry it in a Fist-Inc K5 pocket holster with nothing else in the pocket.
I have a slight build (5'8" and 150lbs) and wear relaxed fit jeans. The draw time is way slower than other types of carry (IWB, OWB, etc) unless you have your hand on the grip already.

Keep working the "What if's" Sitting in the foyer of a restuarant waiting area, parking lot boxed in by cars, bathroom.......

If I missed it in this thread, I apologize. If I didn't, I strongly suggest that the only thing that goes in the pocket with the gun is the gun in its holster and that there is no phone or keys, etc. on the belt above the carry pocket that could interfere with the draw.

Good point. I always have to remember to move my knife to the left side when I pocket carry (At least there will be something I can reach)

I also use a Desanti Nemesis with a Kel-tec P3AT. The Nemesis has a rubber covering that grips to the inside of the pocket allowing you to draw the pistol WITHOUT the holster every time. Great product, I wear it with jeans and dress slacks. It looks like a wallet in your pocket.
