My first carry gun.....since then I must admit I have converted to a Kimber Ultra Carry II. I love the Sig but it makes my pants sag. Although not that old, the sagging look is just not me!

I liked the 228, so I'd probably go with a 229 in 9mm with the DAK trigger if I had to carry a SIG.

I love my Sig P220. It fits me well, is relatively light, easy to handle and is fun to shoot.
My second choice would be the Sig P6. It's the same size as a Glock 19, very light and easy to conceal.
But then again, any Sig would make a great choice.

Definitely without a doubt the 229 Elite .40 in nitron ... not stainless steel as it is a little too heavy.

P245...I have always regreted selling it...I'll get another when the wife's not looking. Right now I only own one, and I love it...A 229 in .357...but I do kinda want to trade it for one with a rail.

The 226 fits my hand better than any gun. I had one for years, but rarely carried it because the thing had such a problem with rust!
Rust and the long pull on the first shot were enough for me to get out of the Sig business. If I could only get a Glock trigger (the factory short trigger doesn't even come close) in the Sig....I would be set.
My Wife has a P239 and seems pretty happy with it.

This one:
220 Combat TB with a JET titanium suppressor.
Just wish they offered it with a DAK trigger. I don't like DA/SA triggers.

I do only own one Sig (now), and it's the P239 .40 cal. It carries almost (not quite) as well as my Kimber Compact. I do find I carry it more than the Kimber since I like the DA/SA configuration.

Just arrived today. Now we have to wait for a non-rainy morning to visit the range.

P229R has accessory rail. Opt for night sights and Crimson Trace grips. 9mm or 40. The 357 is a good round, but the other calibers have better ammo availability. I am making gun decisions now that take ammo availability assumptions into account. I would probably choose whichever caliber I already owned to make it easier to stock the ammo. I either own or have owned most of the non 1911 sigs. None will disappoint, but the 229 is my favorite.

without a doubt, the West German Sig P226 in 9mm.
I have several Sigs and the P226 is the best.
