i have been carrying a sig p226, its much larger than my p229 compact, but i feels more slim like a 1911. so far no problems

I was once told "carry the biggest gun that you will carry everyday" . That statement speaks volumes. I do carry a full size Beretta Px4, but many will not carry a gun that big every day. After a while it becomes easy to make excuses why not to carry. So, go with the Glock, get a comfortable holster, and if it becomes a hassle, simply shop for something smaller and lighter. Any gun is better then no gun.
