I use one for my Beretta PX4 and find it very confortable but my plastic belt loop/clip bent outward on me and needs to be replaced as it sticks out a bit now. Need to see if they offer some replacements.

I was very surprised to receive my horsehide for my XDM in exactly 1 week. They must be able to stay ahead now with their new popularity.

Tom Gresham loves them and pushes them big on his show.

It's great, especially when you want to carry more than a LCP, which is what I carry most of the time.

You'll probably want to adjust the canter and ride height depending on how the default placement fits you. Did you get the J-clips? They're more concealable, and were easy to put on.

I just got what ever comes with the basic holster. I want to try it out a bit and see what works for me best, then go from there. I almost never tuck my shirts so I'm not too worried about that, but it would be a nice option to have if the need arises. I may have to look into that, thanks for the suggestion.

Welp mine came in on tuesday, exactly one week after I ordered it! I've been wearing it all day every day since. I have tried a couple differant possitions and think I found what I like. I'm realy liking this holster.....but dont think I love it yet. I did a little trimming wich helped a bit. It is MUCH more comfortable than my old holster but I still have never 'forgoten I had it on' as some people say. Mostly to the fact that I still have to tighten the crap out of my belt or my weapon feels like its floping around, even with the clips in the highest holes.

13MWZ, do you have a heavy enough belt? I had the same problem until I got a better belt. I got Cabela's Double Duty belt. I know Crossbreed does gun belts as do a lot of hoslter makers. Some here have suggested going to a saddlery to have a belt made. A better belt may solve your problem, as it did mine.

Just my $0.02 worth. :txflag:

No, my belts are all pretty thin cheep belts except for one wich is pretty thick, but too small to comfortably wear with my weapon (had to trim it to work with my buckle). I've been wanting to get a better belt and agree that it will probably fix my 'problem'. My only issue is finding one for a decent price that would work with my dressing habbits (ie being able to replace the buckle with mine). Next time I'm in Buda I'll check out their belt. Was it in the clothing area or by the holsters and such? Do you recall the price?

I ordered it online. I acutally got 2, one black and one brown. They are 1 1/2" belts with a double layer of leather. The price before shipping was $25.00 each.

Has anyone tried to adjust the retention by heating the kydex with a hair drier? I tried, but the plastic never seemed to get hot enough. I used a 1500 watt drier.

Have you received this yet? I am wanting to hear how they are specifically w/the Commander. They look like some type of orthopedic equipment but everyone sings their praises.

I ordered a Supertuck online Saturday night and after reading all the reviews one thing I haven't seen addressed is any seatbelt latching problems or your gun rubbing up against leather car seats. I'm thinking of carrying at 3:00 or 4:00, guess I'll decide when it gets here.

I'm not too concerned about rubbed spots on my pants, I'll just get new ones but I am kinda worried about the seats. I don't care to rub a hole in the backrest. BTW my carry weapon is a Colt Combat Commander.

Are my concerns misplaced?

Yes, I believe your concerns are misplaced. I wear my Supertuck with a PT145 Taurus at 3:00 and with the forward cant, the magazine never gets close to the seat back. No problems latching the seat belts either.

I got my holster yesterday, but I'm not seeing how to use both the j-hooks and the clips at the same time.

Use only one set at a time. Mine came with the metal clips only (I bought it used). They are powder coated black and don't show with a dark brown or black belt. I believe the J-hooks work over the pants but behind and under the belt, so that all that shows is the part that is below the belt. :txflag:

To all that are using the Metal Clips. the only problem I had using them is they tend to quickly cut a bunck of little holes in your shirt if worn untucked. I ruined a few t-shirts before I figured it out. i would suggest the J clips.
I have had my holster (Glock 19) for several months now and I LOVE IT. i did have to do some trimming to get it to fit ME but other than that it has bent the best I have used. I carry my G19 at about 4:00 with a 31" waist. I drive 12-16 hrs a night and it has givin me any problems in or out of the seat or while moving around or under vehicles.

...I see no need to adjust the kydex. Are you checking retention while wearing it or not? Fit will be tighter while wearing as your body pushes in on the leather.
