Cats freak me out. I'd be out there with a gallon of pepper spray at the low ready. All that purring and those claws...you never know when a cat will turn on you.

Wow. A basement in central Texas. Who would have thunk it?jimlongley wrote:... The entire basement floor was inches deep in excrement and the house stank.
He didn't always live in Texas. If memory serves, I believe his telephone career was in Illinois.ninemm wrote:Wow. A basement in central Texas. Who would have thunk it?jimlongley wrote:... The entire basement floor was inches deep in excrement and the house stank.
I disagree. Good SA dictates that he stay alert to the stop and the person he's ticketing, as well as other individuals in the vicinity. The cat is not a potential threat and therefore tolerated during the interaction while maintaining proper SA to all potential viable threats.LAYGO wrote:I figured this was staged or the cop has VERY LOW SA!
Glad to see that if real, he treated it with kindness & he probably has some cats himself . . .
Poor SA because that cute lil kitten could be DEADLY! He didn't seem to notice it approaching at all. While I agree he was focused on the true "threat" (if any), but not seeing the cat could be the same as some perp's attack dog?!?NcongruNt wrote:I disagree. I'm pretty sure he saw it coming up. He didn't even react when it started rubbing against his legs. I don't know about you, but something unknown brushing against my legs would cause an immediate reaction on my part.LAYGO wrote:Poor SA because that cute lil kitten could be DEADLY!
