At the end of my bed is my safe with my 870 clone and Romanian AK.

Taurus 66ss4, Winchester SD on my side.
Glock 36, range ammo on her side (still need to find some SD ammo).
+ a bunch of other stuff laying around, some big, some small, some new, some old....

a glass of water... I sleep way too hard and am half deaf for me to even hear my wife get out of bed :)

I have the blessing (and curse) of anything out of the ordinary waking me up in an instant... most of the time I can be sitting up and fully alert within a second.
Probably has something to do with working at night

Yes it is a semi auto thompson. I love it. very little recoil. it is like shooting a 22.
it is a little on the heavy side. But i figure i get work out while i shoot it
