But how does a magazine follower damage the frame?
I happens to aluminum alloy frames because the lip of the follower can move forward and gouch up the feed ramp.

Evidently not on this one. I just checked Kimber's website, and they say this model has a ramped barrel. It's a good thing, too. Feedramp geometry is so incredibly touchy with the shorties.

I still think Devel followers are aptly named.
