They may LOOK like military police, but they're a contract company. People can, and have, referred to them as "rent-a-cops", but, for the most part, security at JSC has been upgraded since I came to work here, lo, those many years ago.

that might be true but dont think they dont have any around their. my cousin works security at ksc and is MP and carries some assult type rifle.

THAT might be true, but KSC has different security concerns, with the launch vehicles/facilities there. JSC has some "tactical" types, but they still work for the security contract company.

We have a year round pass there. Dont carry your firearm into the building. If you get caught your gonna take a ride.
