Greetings to all. I have just joined forum and look forward to learning and
contributing.
I met several members from this site at the recent (6/14 -18) CHL Instructors class in Austin.
I would add my comments as to supporting the "security" and "classroom" concerns as were
encountered at the "St. Michael Plaza / now Howard Johnson " location.
I also would like to thank "longtooth" for introducing me to this site's location, and for his visiting and
help during the class.

To be sure, you confirmed that the July 19th class will be held at the new location? Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Meeting Room? Wonder when they plan to formally inform us?

Sargent said he was only trying to notify the July 5th class first.

Yes a formal notification from DPS WOULD be nice. I'm all for the change, closer to my house in Cedar Park anyway and obviously a safer location from all the reports of problems at St. Michaels. But for all the folks who made reservations at St. Michaels and need to change that now, notification sooner rather than later is important.

Anyone else besides Rick going to be at the July 5-9 class?
If so, look forward to meeting up, and maybe doing dinner at least one evening with the group.
