yep. of course, mail could be late or early. Mine was 7 or 8 days from this time. never know

7/13/2010: Packet received by DPS
7/21/2010: Online status available/BGC & Prints under review

Just got down the morning cup of coffee and checked my status on line, was updated to CHL mailed!

Thanks alot guys,unfortunately no wally walk any time soon.The store in my town was robbed last night and now closed for investigation. May have to make a short road trip to make it happen.

Is it me, or have the days become longer since apllying for a CHL. I know I am not even at 2 weeks. But I find myself checking the DPS website 5 to 6 times a day. Even though I have read about so many people going through the same thing, I just wasn't prepared for there to be 100 hours in a single day!

Can you check your status if you mailed your app in, or is this only for online apps?

Yes, you can check if you mailed it,
however it takes about 3 weeks for it to show up online.
Sometimes a bit sooner, but wouldn't count on it
