im not crazy about kydex. just seems "plasticy" imo
I had the same preconceived notion, but ordered the crossbreed because of the recommendations on this board. I have found that kydex is very tough stuff.

I can wear my holster (sans weapon) all day at work and it doesn't crush. If it can do that while being mashed between my tough crossbreed gunbelt and my ample girth, it has earned my confidence.

Crossbreed Supertuck for my G23. I cut it down to make the "combat cut". If I was ordering again, it would be CC.

I just ordered a supertuck too! But I also ordered a "kholster" which is similar to the supertuck but is considerably cheaper. I just could not resist the urge to see the difference. I ordered both for a Kimber pro CDP II (45 cal). After I evaluate them I'll make a post somewhere on this forum. I'll sell the loser on e-bay. Congratulations on getting your CHL and your new holster too.

I have two of these, one for a 1911 and one for a G19
fantastic holsters, extremely well made, very, very thin and very comfortable
