Yaaay!!! San Antonio making headlines once again. I saw this story on MSN.com in the 'News' tab. Awesome. Don't get me wrong, I'm surprised he didn't bring out the big guns.. like the slingshot. :leaving

Their website says that their taco meat is 88% beef. For what it is and the price, I actually think Taco Bell has okay food. Notice that I didn't say Mexican food.

"Beef" is inclusive of the fat content. Whether it 88% or 85% the other % is some mystery ingredient. Like the comedian says when he described "non-dairy" whipped topping, we only know what it's not. Could be powdered rocks. I Eat Taco Bueno instead! Or Whataburger!

There was a list posted when the initial story hit on CNN. It is mostly fillers, preservatives, roughage, coloring, flavor additives and spices to name a few. Then you have your bone, insects, droppings etc legally allowed by the FDA.......eewwwww.

Enough Taco Bell bashing. If you don't want to eat their food, fine. This post is about a shooting.

I am not here to defend Taco Bell, but the story posted about their ingredients was not accurate. What is filler and roughage? According to the health experts roughage = fiber. Fiber is is good for you. I know many people who add oatmeal to their burgers.

I am not beating them up. Thats what was on the list. I like taco bell and eat there at least once a week. Almost all fast food contains this stuff so no avoiding it unless you dont eat fast food at all.

I also think that most chain restaurants and frozen dinners have the same type of ingredients. Read the labels. If you dare. ;-)

This should win the silliest reason to get into shootout with cops! At least for this year! Maybe next year someone do not like their pickles and starts to act ....

He is lucky those cops were not better shots. I can't believe he didn't get killed by them! The world has definitely gone mad! From the story he looked to be getting ready to wage war on the place. I am afraid I would have blasted him before he could get those weapons in action. Pointing the gun at me and pulling the trigger would just make me think it misfired and I better respond quickly or die with a follow up round. BB gun would not have entered my mind. Just curious, how many of you would have fired at that guy if you were the person at the window and carrying concealed?

I went on a shooting on Christmas Eve one year where a guy went out after being turned down for like an eighth Coke refill. Came back in and started shooting. Small caliber and all non-life-threatening wounds but still...a soda refill?

Absolutely. They said BB gun, which could mean airsoft in media speak. It is hard to know. I have a couple BB pistols and they don't have the orange tip so I am referring to a situation with no orange tip. I may or may not notice the orange tip if they are that close and the lighting is not all that great. I am not sure my mind would register orange tip if they scared me by pointing a gun in my face and pulled the trigger. Not an adult anyway. If it were a kid, I might make the opposite assumption and end up shot.
