Mine sits just about right -- my right leg never brushes it. Thanks to doc's suggestion, I'm using a ball cap as cover. Draw is still smooth and it makes the gun invisible. Thanks!

My invention could really help you out with that concealment problem. As soon as I get into contact with a patent attorney and do a patent search. I will show you what I have come up with.

It depends on if it will be visible from outside the vehicle. In the picture provided it is not concealed because the door is open and you aren't in the vehicle. While Driving, it looks like it would be well out of view.
If you're pulled over, as long as it's not visible when the officer approaches the vehicle, I think it would would still be OK. After all, you'll be informing the officer of the gun as soon as he gets to the window. If he has you get out, he's causing you to unconceal it.

...you're only REQUIRED to notify if you have a CHL...those carrying under MPA don't have to say anything...and his having asked you out of the car MAY get you by...but you'd be safer to have it concealed...whether you're in OR out of the car...in Texas, LEOs don't often get you out...unless they have other concerns...

Think I'd rather keep my bases covered and just use it as a handy hat hanger. If I'm asked to get out of the vehicle, I'm likely already under suspicion or at least in the hands of an antsy LEO -- at that point, I'd rather play safe than giving them any reason to cite. When possible, I want to beat both the rap and the ride.

Without a hat or towel covering the pistol, I wouldn't use the setup in the original post. Cops in states that require concealment could consider it in plain view if they see it. Cops in states that require plain view car carry could consider it concealed by your leg.
I mounted a holster underneath the steering wheel. It's not visible from outside the car if the door is closed. If the door is open, it's visible to leprechauns but not many others. YMMV if you need to drive a Hummer to compensate for something.

I would have to disagree. It is my belief that if the officer looks in your window and can see it, it is no longer concealed. I certainly would not test that theory.
