The time is here......for Texas to LEAD! Will Perry lead or follow?
I am not sure about Perry he hasn't said much lately on 2A. He seems wishy washy. Senator-Elect Cruz may help. He has come out in supprt of 2A. Senator Cornyn is silent on 2A. The AG is making some noise.
Looks to me like the politition are waiting to see which way the wind blows.

They better pick right because when the smoke is blowing it will be too late.

Perry seems like a Texas version of a Biden type intellect...

I would be interested in forming and/or joining a Political Action Group. Just to clarify, I would NOT be interested in joining a Militia.

With all the work that Mr Cotton and others do in Austin and elsewhere I thought we were a PAC to help other CHL's and protection of our 2A rights. I would be willing to contribute money and time to help advance both causes.
I am also not interested in joining a "Militia".

Based on the OP, I would say that the purpose of this forum and the PAC regarding the OP's thoughts are not the same.

The PAC would be about where the country is going after this past election (which is only the tip of the iceberg as this is a long-festering problem). How do we legally counter the trend?

I will leave it up to y'all to define a PAC. My thoughts were based on what I have observed on this Forum.

It is definitely time to circle the wagons.

Any dictatorial response by the present occupier of the White House to further infringe upon the RTKBA will result in SOME of the states proceeding down the path of virtual political rebellion.

The Texas Nationalist Movement has established a PAC. The TNM is rallying on the North side of the Capitol at noon on January 8th - the first day of the legislative session. I think this is an excellent vehicle for addressing the lack of respect for the U.S. Constitution exhibited in Washington, D.C.

Reasonable folks will differ when it comes to the question of opening the Pandora's Box of seccession, but ASSERTING Texas' sovereignty subject ONLY TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE US CONSTITUTION is something many can agree on I think.

We have allowed the Marxist leaning progressives to infiltrate our media, and education system for decades, Now they are poised to sieze as much control as possible during this administration's term. The states pulling back - and even pushing back - is the only viable option at this point.

Those who are intent upon achieving their envisioned "fundamental transformation " are a ruthless ilk - from the TOP - down. We are going to have to set aside some of our traditional principles of political "decorum" or else we lose this one - " the last great hope of mankind " .

Down in Lavaca County, not far from LaGrange. In the process of getting entirely out of any sizeable metropolitan area. It would be a good move even if it was just a matter of the ridiculous taxes in town.

I too would love to get out of the large metroplex areas, but because of work, it's just not in the cards. Finding a good paying job away from Houston has been very hard. Even finding a decent paying job hasn't been possible. In a few years, if the wife's student loans are paid down, we may look atme trying to work remotely and her home schooling our kids if we have some by then. We'd love to move up in the mountains of New Mexico even though the politics aren't that great. We've also looked at Oklahoma. From what I understand Obama didn't win one single county there in the last election.
