I just checked in and my status was updated! I'm not sure how long to to expect the wait for the plastic to show up.

I just checked today... delivery confirmation says everything arrived in Austin on Feb.6 and as of this afternoon, it still shows application online and waiting paperwork. I hope it didn't get lost! :)

Howdy, everyone. This looks like the thread I need to be in for my first post.
Online application - 1/31/13
Fingerprints - 2/7/13
CHL class - 2/17 and 2/18/13
Packet mailed - 2/19/13
Just checked status and it's still shows awaiting documentation. Given the timelines I've seen here, I'd guess March 12ish before the docs show received.

Glad I learned that it takes two weeks to get a case worker or I would be wasting time looking at the status daily.

Is this showing that they received your packet and fingerprints 20 days after mailing wow.

My packet was delivered to Austin today. When can I log on the the DPS site to see the progress? I tried today and it said *no information found* I know its early to be checking but when will I be in the system and able to check my status?

New join here.....DPS received mine on Feb 9, 2013 and I still have not gotten an update. Friend of mine sent his in the week before and finally got the update that they were on his back ground check. waiting the wait game........

All my info was received in Austin on the 2/6 per delivery confirmation. DPS site updated as received for the first time today (3/1)... so just over 20 days or so...
Waiting on the bkgnd check now.
