And AEA - I think it is a state by state thing right now. Meaning NYPD can only get fixed stocks, 10rd mags etc.
Lordy be, if you can afford to buy Larues, I want a job on your force. Got any openings for computer geeks????

So they won't sell to the local LEO's, yet they still will sale to the feds

? That is pretty lame! I didn't see the local's sending guns to Mexico. Many local leo's have to purchase their own equipment that is then used
to protect the public at no expense to the tax payer. As an example, even in Draconian places like CA, if one gets a letter from work they can purchase a AR15 patrol rifle for use at work. The public benefits from those purchases. Sure people can whine that they can't buy one, and it's not fair or whatever, but you know what, our street cops need the gear to do the job w/o all the political nonsense. Last time I checked it is also the LOCAL sheriff's that are making the stand against pending Draconian gun legislation. But hey, if they want to drive away the LEO market, have at it. There are other vendors out there. My $800 Bushmaster does the job just fine.

@texanjoker: I believe the statement was worded as such by LaRue Tactical because the Feds haven't passed any new laws that ban current firearms nor does it seem likely that they will. The same cannot be said of New York or California.

Fed agencies haven't really limited us (yet)
Does that mean he won't sell feds select fire manufactured after 1986? Otherwise it's just a publicity stunt.

Mr. LaRue makes a top-notch product. The only items that I've purchased have been a pair of scope mounts, but they were exceptionally well made and served me well. Then he goes and does this...and ensures that when I'm in the market for something he manufactures, his products will be a the top of my list.
This is similar to what Ronnie Barrett did a few years back - and just as worthy of praise.

In CA a LEO can get a letter from work to purchase certain items that will be used at work. The items go through a FFL so there is nothing illegal about it. However, when they leave work (retire, quit) they have to surrender that item to their employer and are not reimbursed

.
The business owner has this right. Just thinking its wrong.
