Anyway, can't believe I forgot to ask your racing team's name and class y'all race in. I became a fan when I lived in the Imperial Valley for a few years in the mid-90's, and would see the San Felipe 250 racers at the Calexico/Mexicali Port of Entry, not to mention all the prerunners and decked-out race-suspension vehicles practicing and having fun at Glamis.
That's awesome. At one point in time a number of years ago, a guy named Rich and I hosted a group of like-minded desert racing enthusiasts from the DFW area at the Pappas BBQ in Dallas to see if we could organize some kind of Texas-based racing. After researching the insurance liability costs and requirements, it kind of fell by the wayside. But a few years after that Texas began hosting some races out West. Do y'all ever do any Texas races? Another good place for skeet shooting. I'm in Arlington about seven miles from it.
