Ya, for me it seems I will shop around for whatever I want to buy and when I find the best price I buy.......... Then the price drops every where else. So I give up now and just buy it when I see it I will never win the price game. Now my wife just saved me over $1000 on plane tickets for her and son soooooooooooo I think I get to spend some money

only nothing to buy anymore.

Yea - i have a pile of stuff "dribbling" in over a 3 month period. WSF powder, Dillon reloader, penn bullets, Clay powder. All from diff online sources. Folks say they have it in stock - but probably not. With the clay powder from bruno shooters supply he had the powder i wanted (clay) i ordered and gave my money, then he says don't bother checking for 6 weeks and assorted other disclaimers. Lessons learned - if we pull out of this mess. Stock about a years worth up.
Happy about your cash influx! I guess this will teach us all patience!

+1 on those guys. I went in a while back and picked up most of what I needed for loading 25-06 with a decent selection. I believe they have a policy which won't allow you to purchase the same powder at one time. That is, you can't buy two 1lb containers of reloader 22 but you can buy 1 8lb if they have it and some other kind of powder as well. The prices are fair, considering what others will charge you.

Its not necessarily local (depends on local stock), but I picked up a couple lbs of 4198 just a few minutes ago online from Cabelas.

A couple of weeks ago I was near Decatur. I went into 2K pawn and gun. It was mainly a nice well run gun shop. They had several different powders to select @ $20 / lb. I bought some Herco for my 45LC loads. Just for giggles sakes, I drove onto Bridgeport. Bridgeport Gun & Ammo had powder and had just received a shipment of primers.
I spoke to the owner of Bridgeport Gun & Ammo. He likes to keep his prices in line with Cabela's and Bass Pro even though he does not have the same margins. He told me if I call or email before I make the drive again, he would truthfully let me know what he has on hand. So from now on, he will get my money before any big box store does.
Now, let's find a good source of bullets.

Gun Gear to Go at 75 and Parker has some powders in stock, unfortunately not what I am looking for at the moment. They are very nice folks so you might give them a call to see if they have what you are looking for.
Cabella's in Allen has been getting powder in but it doesn't hang around too long. A few weeks ago they had a whole shelf of IMR 4064, but a few days later it was gone. Its on my way home so I stop by every few days to see what they have. But I can't find any Alliant Power Pistol to save my life.
