The focus of their search was a baby fawn brought there by an Illinois family worried she had been abandoned by her mother.
Sure sounds like massive overkill to me - 13 armed men to take down a fawn? Come on.
Ya vol, dey ver yust carrying out ohrders.

13 shooters for one fawn but the government will say we don't need full auto for deer hunting. :nono:

We need a new tv show "LEO's Gone Wild". I think this story has a bit of hype in it. 13 isn't so many depending on how you do it they need leo's to watch and control people then the DNR folks to search & kill the fawn. I would guess this is place is larger then a standard house maybe small farm size, searching in pairs yadda yadda and yes it would have been easier to knock and ask for the fawn, but we all know how sneaky violent the tree huggers can be.

Are you saying this is just another day at the office and all is well with what went down?
Did I say that? There are many factors to consider on a warrant service. Were there people on premise with known violent history? We dont know. Just calling xx re the hype swat team.

How sad. Poor bambi.

Seriously ridiculous. This is why they don't let American military adopt animals in Germany. They see and hear how abusive and callous Americans are with our animals. Animal Cops Houston is shown overseas. It does not give a very good impression of us at all. When a local dog was found with its mouth wrapped in duct tape, money flooded in from around the world for its care, much to the surprise of the vet caring for the dog. I was not surprised at all. The world watches what we do. Do we need this kind of negativity? They have such negative views of Americans already from our movies. Our media does us no favors either by always promoting the sensational and hyped up stories, just to make a buck.
I'm not saying they should avoid the truth ever, I'm just saying they should try and bring more balance to the news.

And our police could use some lessons on how the police in Europe deal with people's dogs......they don't shoot them, but as part of the raid, have people assigned and trained to contain them safely. They killed the deer to protect it, just like the authorities destroy children's lives for being children in order to "protect" them.
