Well, I suppose if said leak ends up constituting treason and it occurs during wartime... I think that'd have to be a pretty unique set of circumstances, though.
It wan't meant to be serious, just to look that way to keep them all in line.
I agree, it is a French firing squad after all. I doubt they have mastered the Parthian Shot, no worries.
