I found it on my amazon prime movies. They want 2.99 for rental. It's not a prime freebie. Is it worth three bucks? Robert Duvall is usually pretty good in movies.

Back when, I probably paid about $3 to see it in the theater. Of course, $3 then is like $15 now.

There are a number of clips on YouTube that give you the highlights of the movie. The few I watched left me feeling someone needed to break the guys knee caps.

Yeah... I watched the trailer for free. I am think ole Robby Duvall plays a hard case in this movie.

Back in the day jumping Frog, I remember my wife and I spending a whole dollar fifty to enter the drive in. It was always on Monday nights and we could fill the car with as many people as we could fit. Lol...I think your right. Three dollars in 1979 was at least an hours pay.

OK... I am bored. I have no life. It is Saturday night and I am about to rent a 1979 Robert Duvall movie. It better be good oldgringo or I will be asking you where to send the bill for the three dollars.

It's worth $3.00. You may seen people you know in this depiction. We just finished watching "Taxi Driver" with a teen age Robert DeNiro circa 1976. Nobody in it I knew.

Yeah.... Good call. It is worth three dollars.

Taxi driver is one of my favorites. I can watch that movie over and over again. "You talking to me?"

It's funny seeing stars in their early years. Patrick swayze. Stood out, even as a supporting actor. Weird how certain people just stand out as actors.

Bobby DeNiro was 30 years old. Didn't you recognize Jodie Foster? She was 13.

Was deniro really 30 in that?? Wow!! He has aged very well. I was 15 in 1976 and I look older than deniro now.

Yep, I also recognized Sybil Sheppard. She made her debut along about that time in, "THE LAST PICTUE SHOW". Incidentally, that series of books by Larry McMurtry are among my favorites. In fact, I think I've read just about every thing he's written except maybe a couple.
