Have you actually tried carrying it? It's smaller (and a *lot* lighter) than a standard single-stack 1911, and those are easy to conceal. Even things like double-stack Para LDA .45s do pretty well in a properly made IWB holster. Square butt S&W N-frames with those lovely wood target grips are the sorts of things that can be a little tough to conceal

j frame airweight 38 +p works for a lot of people
specially in texas, slip it in a pocket holster and in your pocket
